Bought the salvage,but when it was returned to me the tank,which was previously undamaged,had a massive crease diagonally across it,just behind the filler cap and right on the double curvatured area in front of the rider.

It took five months of hassling the Insurers , but they finally admitted their liability and I had the tank repaired by Motobuild in Burscough.....it came back looking like a brand new one....faultless...quite awesome,really. How I wish I had a 'before' photo to show just what good job was done.
